Kihikihi Speedway has raced at the Kihikihi Domain, on the eastern edge of Kihikihi in the Waikato, since 1954. Once focused on open-wheel and bike classes, a concrete wall in the early 1990s and track lighting in 2014 grew it into a full Saturday-night programme. Classes include Solos, Sidecars, Midgets, Super Saloons, Saloons, Production Saloons, Stockcars, Superstocks, Minisprints, Streetstocks and Youth Ministocks. The track has hosted Speedway World Championship qualifying rounds, the first in 1982.
